Once home to the powerful Grimani family, the palace became renowned for its frescoed ceilings, and its extraordinary collection of antiquities inspired by ancient Rome. It was a space where art, architecture and power coexisted in harmony. The beautiful pattern reflects this cultivated grandeur. Structured medallions repeat with architectural discipline, framed by intricate ornamental motifs that echo the symmetry of Renaissance design and details found in the palace.
